Welcome to my podcast. Centring Down With Compassion has over 100 talks and meditation to support you in your therapeutic journey A space to slow down, listen inwardly and gently explore what’s happening inside. In these episodes, I share IFS-informed meditations, reflections and conversations exploring our inner parts, the wisdom of the body and the possibility of meeting ourselves with greater curiosity and compassion. Sometimes we might explore grounding, balance or simply taking a breath and saying “ah…”. Sometimes we might listen to a part that is uncomfortable, anxious or saying no — and become curious about what it might be trying to protect, or what deeper “yes” might be waiting underneath. I’m interested in the small moments that can help us reconnect with ourselves: a sense of being held by the ground, a softening in the body, a moment of stillness, a poem that opens something up, or the experience of discovering that all our parts have a place. My work is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, embodiment and the natural rhythms of life, as well as poetry, music and the many things I encounter in my work as a therapist. These aren’t practices where you need to get anything “right”. They are invitations to become curious about your own experience — to notice what is here, make space for it and perhaps discover a little more of the calm, compassionate Self that is already within you. You can listen while sitting quietly, walking, resting or simply taking a few minutes out of your day. I hope you find something here that speaks to you. And if something you hear resonates and you’d like to explore this work more deeply, I’d love to hear from you. I offer individual therapy incorporating IFS and other integrative approaches.
