Adult Therapy. Farnham, Surrey

Compassionate IFS therapy for adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, grief, difficult relationships and life's challenges. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whatever you're carrying, therapy offers a gentle space to slow down, feel heard and begin to understand yourself with greater kindness and curiosity.

Perhaps something in your life is asking for attention.

Sometimes life feels harder than we think it should. We may find ourselves caught in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, struggling in relationships, or feeling disconnected from the person we know ourselves to be.

Perhaps there is a part of you that works tirelessly to keep everything together, another that worries or doubts, and another that longs for something to change.

These different parts of us often have very good reasons for feeling and behaving as they do.

What if, instead of fighting against ourselves, we could learn to listen with curiosity and compassion?

Finding a different way forward

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can explore what’s happening in your inner world, at your own pace.

My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a gentle and respectful way of working that recognises we all have different parts of ourselves — some protective, some vulnerable, and some carrying experiences from the past.

Rather than trying to silence difficult feelings or push unwanted parts away, we begin to understand what they are trying to tell us.

As we develop a more compassionate relationship with ourselves, new possibilities can emerge. We may find greater calm, confidence, connection and freedom to respond to life in different ways.

You might come to therapy because you’re experiencing…

Anxiety, stress or a sense of overwhelm

Low mood, self-criticism or feeling not good enough

Grief, loss or difficult life transitions

Trauma or painful experiences from the past

Relationship difficulties or recurring patterns

Feeling stuck, disconnected or unsure of yourself

The exhaustion of always putting other people’s needs first

You don’t need to arrive with a diagnosis, a clear explanation, or even know where to begin.

We can begin wherever you are.

A gentle invitation

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re used to managing things on your own.

My hope is to offer a relationship in which you feel safe enough to explore, curious enough to discover, and supported enough to begin making changes.

There is no pressure to be anything other than who you are.

If something here resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch. We can have an initial conversation and explore whether working together f

A little about me

I’ve spent much of my life exploring what helps people feel safe, heard and truly understood.

My background in music education taught me the art of deep listening, while mindfulness and hypnotherapy have enriched my ability to accompany people into their inner worlds with curiosity, creativity and compassion.

As an IFS therapist, I bring these experiences together, offering a gentle, attuned space where every part of you is welcome — even the parts you find difficult to love. I believe that beneath our struggles lies an innate capacity for healing, and it is a privilege to help people rediscover it.
